Juan Villarreal Cardenas
October 9, 1935 – July 23, 2026
Juan Villarreal Cardenas was born on October 9, 1935, in El Carmen, Nuevo León, Mexico, and passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, in San Antonio, surrounded by the love of the family he cherished so deeply. He was a beloved husband, a devoted father, a treasured grandfather and great-grandfather, a loving brother, and a friend to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
For decades, Juan shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Maria Montemayor Villarreal, who survives him. Theirs was a love built on deep devotion, quiet strength, and unwavering respect, a partnership that stood as an example to everyone around them of what it means to truly love another person for a lifetime.
Juan's warmth and wisdom live on through his children: Zulema M. Villarreal, Juan Arnoldo Villarreal, Orelia Villarreal de Gonzalez, Daniel Villarreal, and Albesa Villarreal Alaniz. He was immensely proud of each of them, and that same pride and joy extended to his 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and siblings.
Juan now reunites with those who went before him: his beloved son, Rolando Patricio Villarreal, and his grandsons, Rolando Villarreal Garcia and Javier Alaniz. Though their absence was felt deeply, their memory was always held close, and Juan carried their love with him always.
Juan will be remembered as a man of deep faith, steady strength, and boundless love, someone whose presence brought comfort and whose guidance shaped generations. His life was a testament to what it means to love fully and live with purpose, and his legacy will continue to bless the family he built for many years to come.
