Juanita Urrutia Muñoz

Juanita Urrutia Muñoz,79, passed away on October 7, 2026, in San Antonio, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 31, 1946, in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. Her life will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family she held so close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Muñoz; her daughter, Patricia Muñoz; her father, Eduardo H. Urrutia; her mother, Natividad Vasquez Urrutia; and her brothers, Ermilio V. Urrutia and Jose Luis V. Urrutia. Their memories remained a lasting part of her life and are now joined with hers in eternal rest.

Juanita leaves behind a loving family who will continue to carry her memory forward. She is survived by her daughters, Bertha Alicia Munoz Fox and her husband, Duane, Mary Abrego, Rose Villarreal and her husband, Victor, and Brenda Kramer and her husband, Robbin; and by her sons, Enrique Munoz Jr. and his wife, Lilly, Joe Munoz and his wife, Veronica and Juan Mata and wife Christina. Sister, Virginia U. Rodriguez. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  The love of her family was a great comfort to her, and those bonds remain a lasting part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation with the family on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 203 E. Frio, Pearsall, Texas 78061. A Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. at the same location.

A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 422 W Brazos St, Pearsall, Texas 78061. Burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Pearsall Cemetery, 1675 E Colorado St, Pearsall, Texas 78061.

Juanita Urrutia Muñoz will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who shared in her life. May her memory bring comfort to her family and peace to all who mourn her passing.
