Leonor G. Cantu

Leonor Garcia Cantu, 87 of Pearsall, entered rest on April 17, 2015. She was born on August 15, 1927 in Dilley to Miguel Garcia and Santos Benavidez. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Trinidad Padilla Cantu and son, Librado Trinidad Cantu. Brothers and sisters: Manuel Chavana, Francisco Chavana, Elida Martinez and Gloria Smith.

She is survived by her children, Diana C. Martinez and husband, Francisco; Carlos N. Cantu and wife, Janet; Alamar C. Perez; Jose Lionel Cantu and wife, San Juanita; Norma C. Gonzales and Emilio Barros; Herbey Cantu and wife, Eva; Senaida C. Perez and husband, Oscar; Glaude Rivera and husband, Luciano; Ricardo G. Cantu and wife, Luz Maria; Christen Cantu and Rudy Garcia; Jose Lionel Cantu Jr. and Jocelyn Ambriz. Sisters: Nela Zurita, Aurora Jaimes, Viola Vargas, Antonia Jaco and Juanita Gonzales, brother, Omar Benavidez. She is also survived by 4 generations of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was loved by everyone and a grandma to all.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10 am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
