Lorenzo Jesus Castillo

It is with deep sorrow and tender remembrance that we announce the passing of Lorenzo Jesus Castillo, a beloved baby boy who left us all too soon on August 19, 2026.

Though his life was brief, he made an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had eagerly awaited his arrival. His memory will forever be held close by his devoted parents, Loren Maldonado and Jesus Castillo, who loved him deeply and remain comforted by the thought of their precious son always being a part of their family. Lorenzo’s short but meaningful presence has also left a lasting impression on his sister, Carolina Castillo, and his brother, Lucas Castillo, who will carry his memory with them throughout their lives.

Lorenzo joins in peaceful rest his great-grandfathers, Teodoro Castillo and Ambrosio Garza Sr.; great-grandmothers, Petra de Castillo and Estela Ramirez; his uncle, Arturo Garza; and dear cousins, Ambrosio Garza III and Lee-Ly Trevino. The family finds solace in knowing that Lorenzo is now surrounded by the love and care of those who have gone before him.

Though Lorenzo’s time with us was fleeting, his spirit has brought his family closer together, inspiring a deeper sense of love, hope, and resilience. He will be forever missed, always remembered, and deeply loved by everyone whose life he touched.

The family had a private burial on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Frio County Cemetery. He was buried near his first cousin Lee-Ly Trevino.
