Lucia V. Martinez

Lucia Vasquez Martinez, 84 of Pearsall entered rest on June 13, 2019. She was born on July 25, 1934, in Batesville to Lorenzo Vasquez and Matiana Gomez Vasquez. She is preceded in death by her husband Rosendo Martinez; son, Raul Martinez, parents; brothers and sisters, Victor, David, Lazaro Vasquez and Consuelo Vasquez

She is survived by her children, Mucio Martinez and wife Margarita of Pearsall, Celestina Martinez and husband Jaime of California, Victor Martinez and wife Gregoria of New Mexico, Trinidad Martinez and wife Jessica of Pearsall, Ricardo Martinez and wife Thelma of Pearsall, Linda Rodriguez and husband Gomer of Dilley, Sandra Martinez and Greg Dominguez of Pearsall,Maribel Martinez and Francisco Garza of Lytle; brothers, Rojelio, Gilberto and Alfredo Vasquez of West Texas; sister, Victoria Ruiz of West Texas. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include:Trinidad Martinez Jr., Charlie Martinez Sr., Victor Martinez Jr., Martin Martinez Sr., Gomer Rodriguez Jr., Damien Ramos, Josiah Turrubiates and Samantha Rae Ramos.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Catholic Cemetery West.
