Lucio A. Aranda

Lucio Aguilar Aranda, 81 of Pearsall, entered rest on November 2,  2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 3, 1937 in Derby to Concepcion Aranda and Sabina Aguilar Aranda. He is preceded in death by his son, Lucio Aranda Jr., parents and brother, Matilde Aranda.

He is survived by his wife, Lucia Elizondo Aranda of Pearsall; children, Domingo Aranda of For Pierce, Fl, Rosa Aguilar and Juan, Emilio Aranda, Benito Aranda all of  Okeechobee, Fl, Ricardo Aranda and Laura of Crestwood, KY, Mary Aranda and J Ascencion of Jackson, TN and Janie Gonzalez and Tony of Pearsall. He is also survived by his brother, Gregorio Aranda and Oralia of Pearsall, 29 grandchildren with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
