Luis De La Cruz Nieto

Luis DeLaCruz Nieto, 91 of Pearsall, entered rest on February 22, 2020. He was born on April 27, 1928 in Pearsall to Juan Lopez Nieto and Julia DeLaCruz Nieto. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Rosario Nieto, parents, and brothers, Pedro Nieto, Juan Nieto and Torivio Nieto.

He is survived by his wife, Josefina Lafuente Nieto of Pearsall; children, Hector L. Nieto (Estella) of McAllen, Angie N. Siller (Mario) of Pearsall, Josefina N. Harlan of Maryland, Jose Luis Nieto of Pearsall, Robert L. Nieto (Mechelle) of Devine, Armando L. Nieto (Ana) of New Braunfels, Alfonso L. Nieto (Victoria) of California, Roland L. Nieto (Annette) of Pearsall, Arnold L. Nieto of California, Paul L. Nieto (Rachel) of Temple and Julia N. Urrutia (Paul) of Martindale. Brother: Pete Nieto (Nachie) of Pearsall. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include, Hector Nieto Jr., Joey Nieto, Robert Nieto Jr., Anthony Nieto, Mario Siller Jr., Michael Siller, Joshua Paul Urrutia, Gabriel Louis Urrutia and Christopher Ryan Urrutia.  Honorary pallbearers; Brevan Paul Nieto and Noah Alexander Urrutia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-5pm. A rosary will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
