Manuel Lopez Cuellar

Manuel Lopez Cuellar entered rest peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 26, 2023, at the age of 62. He was born to Hortencia and George Cuellar on July 18, 1960, in Pearsall, TX. He is proceeded in death by his parents, stepfather, Felix Rodriguez; daughter, Amber Kathleen Cuellar and sister Analisa Perez.

Manuel was a graduate of Pearsall High School. He was well known for running the hurdles for the Maverick track team.  After graduating, Manuel was a manager at HEB which he enjoyed for many years. He also worked at Western Auto and a few oil field companies.

Manuel enjoyed many hobbies, some including, cooking, hunting, fishing and watching sci-fi movies. He was an avid collector of antiques, rare coins, guns and magazines. He loved taking his wife Patricia and daughter, Angelica, on trips to different museums, amusement parks and many other outdoor activities.

Most of all, Manuel was known for his spirited and joyful personality. He was always the life of the party, and everyone knew when Manuel entered the room, it would be jokes, laughter and fun. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with every one of them. He cherished the time spent, big or small holding each moment and family member dear to his heart. He made many memories that would last a lifetime and Manuel will be truly loved and missed by all who had the chance to know him.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Perez Cuellar; daughter, Angelica Hortencia Perez Cuellar; sisters, Linda and Gina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Gilbert Perez Jr., David Perez, Thomas Martinez, David Muniz, Albert Delgado and Richard Perez Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall, Tx from 8:30am with a rosary recited at 9am. Funeral mass will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall, Tx. at 10am. Interment will be held at  Pearsall Catholic (east side) Cemetery after mass.
