Marcos V. Gonzales

Marcos V. Gonzales, 82 of Pearsall, entered rest on January 26, 2014. He was born on October 7, 1931 in Charlotte to Matilde Gonzales and Luciana Valdez Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lidia Vela Gonzales, parents; Matilde and Luciana Gonzales, brother; Egnacio Gonzales and numerous sisters.

He is survived by his children; Marcos Gonzales Jr. and wife Esperanza of Led Better, Texas, Antonio Gonzales and wife Alicia of Giddings, Arnuldo Gonzales and wife Carry of Giddings, Ramon Gonzales and wife Criselda of Andrews, Texas, Edwardo Gonzales and wife Alicia of Los Fresnos, Jesusita Lopez and husband Alberto of Pearsall, Dora Trujillo and husband Albert of Pearsall, Herlinda Flores of Pearsall and Delia Gonzales and Oscar of Austin,sister; Olivia Martinez of Winters, Texas. He is also survived by 44 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral was held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.
