Margarita D. Aguilar

Margarita D. Aguilar, 72 of Dilley, entered rest on January 20, 2016 in San Antonio. She was born on June 10, 1943 in Dilley to Encarnacion DeLeon and Juanita Garcia DeLeon. She is preceded in death by her father and sister, Luz DeLeon.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jose Angel Aguilar Sr. of Dilley, children; Graciela A. Silva and husband David of Dilley, Jose Angel Aguilar Jr. and wife Marivel of San Marcos and James Andrew Aguilar and wife Roxanne of Dilley. Mother: Juanita G. DeLeon, brother, David DeLeon and sister, Melissa D. Gonzales. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Aguilar was a teacher's aid at Mary Harper Middle school in Dilley for over 35 years.

Pallbearers include: Rodrigo Rodriguez, David Silva, J.R. Rodriguez, Roger San Miguel Jr., Jose Luis Aguilar and Eli Aguilar. Honorary Pall bearers include; Armando Torres, Sonny Ventura Esqueda Jr., Jase, Jordan, Daniel and Orlando.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels- Pearsall from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
