Margarita Valdez Rios

Margartia Valdez Rios, 69 entered rest on March 15, 2024 in San Antonio. She was born on November 28, 1954 in Cotulla to Florentino Valdez and Tomasa Jimenez Valdez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Rios Sr, parents, son Cristobal Rios, son in law, Luis Salazar and siblings, Jovita Hernandez and Luis Valdez.

She is survived by her children, Antonio Rios Jr. of Cotulla, Maria I. Ayala (Ricky) of Cotulla, Juan Manuel Rios of Melon, Gregorio Rios of Cotulla, David Lee Rios of Cotulla, Christina Salazar of Pearsall and Gracie R. Martinez (LeeRoy) of Dilley. Siblings, Mary Garza, Esperanza Valdez, Janie Garcia, Rosa Rios, Gloria Valdez, Paula Casareres, Florentino Valdez, Juan Valdez and Roy Valdez. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include, Juan Rios, Gregorio Rios, David Rios, Antonio Rios, Ricky Ayala Sr., Ricky Ayala Jr. and Lee Roy Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Pearsall from 5pm-9pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Pearsall starting at 10am. Interment will follow to the Frio County Cemetery.
