Margarito Benavides

Margarito Benavides, 93 of Dilley entered rest on February 3, 2015 in Cotulla. He was born on June 12, 1921 in Mexico to Luz Benavides and Maria Margarita Arredondo Benavides. He is preceded in death by his wife Soila Benavides, parents, sister, Maria De Atoche and children; Margarito Benavides Jr., Maria Edna Benavides, Margarita Benavides and Juanita Benavides.

He is survived by his children; Ismael Benavides and wife Carmen, Gerardo Benavides and wife Carolina, Juan Benavides, Elvia Salinas, Ricardo Benavides and wife Debbie, Israel Benavides and wife Criselda, Gloria Longoria and husband Victor, Rosalva Mata and Paul Cyruss, Geraldina Gonzales and husband Richard, Martha Luna and husband Harvey, Maria Guadalupe Benavides and Eric Ramirez. Brothers and sisters; Ramon Benavides, David Benavides, Luciano Benavides, Isavel Moreno, Lucinda Estrada, Bernandino Benavides and Eduvique Vega . He is also survived by 20 grandchildren 25 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Israel Benavides, Israel Benavides Jr., Juan Jose Benavides Jr., James Benavides, Ethan Benavides, Derek Gonzales, Roel Ismael Benavides,Roel Benavides, Rudy Silva, Ryan Silva and Dillion Benavides.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels- Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3:30pm. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
