Maria C. Martinez

Maria C. Martinez, 87 of Dilley, entered rest on September 12, 2018 in Pearsall. She was born on September 19, 1930 in Melon, Texas to Juan Cabasos and Gomecinda Cantu Cabasos. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan L. Martinez, son, Librado Martinez, parents and siblings, Sabas Cabasos, Silvestre Cabasos, Victoria Rodriguez, Nativida Cabasos and Rafaela Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children, Maria Elena Rodriguez and husband Ricky of Dilley, Nolberto "Betin" Martinez of Pearsall, Anna Louisa Aleman and husband Jose of San Antonio, Juan C. Martinez Jr. and wife Kelli of Rockwell, TX, Luis C. Martinez of Pearsall and J Prajedes C. Martinez and wife Liza of Dilley.
She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.

Pallbearers include, Luis Martinez Jr., Rick Rodriguez, Boy Martinez, Ronald Aleman, Cody Martinez and J.P Martinez; Honorary Pallbearers, Jordan Rodriguez and James Rodriguez.
