Maria Guadalupe Escobedo

Maria Guadalupe Escobedo, 92 of Pearsall, entered rest on July 24, 2021 in Pearsall. She was born on April 3, 1929 in Dilley to Jose Hewtty and Pascuala Munoz Hewtty. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jose M. Escobedo; daughter, Darlene Duarte; brother, Reyes Hewtty and grandson Andy Escobedo Jr.

She is survived by her children, George Escobedo (Cerise) of Chicago, Andy Escobedo (Sara) of Florida, Alex Escobedo (Deanna) of Chicago, Norma Gutierrez (George) of Pearsall and son in law Alfonso Duarte (Darlene)+ of Chicago. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers: George Gutierrez Jr., Joe Albert Gutierrez, George Escobedo, Andy Escobedo, George Gutierrez Sr. and Alfonso Duarte.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Catholic Cemetery Westside.
