Maria R. Gonzales

Maria R. Gonzales, 72 of Dilley, entered rest on December 20, 2014 in San Antonio. She was born on February 21, 1942 in Dilley to Reyes Gonzales and Concepcion Recio Gonzales. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, James T. Franklin and siblings; Benito Gonzales, Jose Gonzales, Reyes Gonzales Jr., Genado Gonzales, Gonzalo Gonzales, Enriquetta Moreno and Estella Gonzales.

She is survived by her children; David Franklin and wife Tammy of Webster, New York, John Franklin and wife Martha of Dilley, Joseph Franklin of Dilley, Lana Bermea and husband Roy of Texarkana, Texas and Jerry Franklin and wife Tammy of Greece, New York. Brother: Lionel Gonzales Sr., and wife Oralia of Pearsall, sisters; Engletina Mata and husband Juan of Plainview, Texas and Evangelina Villarreal and husband Ysias of Dilley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
