Maria Jesus Obregon

Maria Jesus Obregon, 98 of Dilley, entered rest on June 26, 2019 at her home. She was born on February 24, 1921 in Frio County to Luis Plaza and Mariana Olvera Plaza. She is preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Obregon, son, Jose Alvaro Obregon, parents and siblings, Basilio Plaza, Jose Plaza and Chonita Ochoa.

She is survived by her children, Odilia Flores of Dilley, Eddie Obregon (Marivel) of Uvalde and Javier Obregon (Lupe) of Angleton; brothers, Isidoro Plaza, Inez Plaza and Luis Plaza; step-sister, Oralia Guerra. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 114 E. Frio St., Dilley, Texas 78017.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church from 10am-12:15pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30pm with interment to follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
