Maria Luisa Ortiz, 73 of Dilley, entered rest on October 25, 2021 in San Antonio. She was born on October 21, 1948 in Dilley, TX to Willie L. Ortiz and Juanita Ruiz Ortiz. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Alfonso Ortiz, Leonides Ortiz and Griselda Sambrano.

She is survived by her son, Scott Anthony Ortiz; siblings, Robert Ortiz, Gilbert Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Raul Ortiz, Silvia Jaco and Yolanda Garcia also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers: Scott Ortiz, Gilbert Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Raul Ortiz, Leonides Ortiz Jr., and Lionel Ortiz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
