Maria Perez

Maria Perez, 75 of Natalia, entered rest on June 21, 2016. She was born on May 8,1941 to Gregoria Campos Zapata and Pancho Frank Zapata Sr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Luis Perez, sons, Andres Martin Perez and Jose Luis Perez Jr., grandson, Jose Hernandez Jr., parents and brothers and sisters; Joe Zapata, Stella Zapata Garza, Johnny Zapata, Frank "Blackie" Zapata Jr, Adelfa Garcia, Tina Garcia, Linda Garcia, Raymond Zapata, Jesse Zapata, Kika Martinez and Adolfo Garcia.

She is survived by her children; Cynthia P. Trevino and husband Ely Sr. of Pearsall, Santiago Perez and wife Dolly of Devine, Andy Perez and wife Jenny of Devine and Rachel Palacios and husband Raul of Devine. Brothers: Anselmo (Sammy) Garcia And Andres "Butch" Zapata of Devine and sister, Maria Zapata of Uvalde. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2015 from 4pm-9pm with a rosary held at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devine at 10am. Interment will follow at the St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
