Maria Elena Torres De Martinez

Maria Elena Torres de Martinez, 91, from Millett, Texas, entered eternal rest on August 15th, 2023.  Maria Elena was born to Luciano and Celerina Torres on June 23rd, 1932 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Trinidad Martinez.

She is survived by her children, Javier Martinez of Millett and Maria Elena Olvera (Roberto) of San Antonio.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Roberto Jose Olvera, Maria Celeste Olvera, and Daniela Olvera.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 21st, 2023 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 7893 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, TX 78251, at 9 a.m., with a rosary recited at 9:45 a.m. The funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m.
Graveside service will be held at the Millett Cemetery in Millett, TX, for her final resting place at 12:45 p.m.
