Mariza Pena

Mariza Pena, 44 of Pearsall, entered rest on April 28, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 11, 1973 in Pomona, California to Esteban Guzaman and Margarita Aguilar Guzman. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Deziree Casillo and sister, Emily Guzman.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Lorenzo Pena of Pearsall; children, Crystal Castillo and husband Marco, Reymundo Castillo III, Israel Mendoza, Leslie Manuela Pena, Carla Loraine Pena and Jose Lorenzo Pena Jr.; parents, Esteban and Margarita Guzman; siblings, Angie Corona, Maria Leal and husband Eddie and Martin Guzman. She is also survived by her grandchildren,  Carlos Castillo, Marc Castillo, Emma Castillo Eve Castillo, Nevaeh Castillo, Reymundo Castilio IV and Rebecca Mendoza as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel from 10am-1pm. A rosary will be recited at 1pm and a funeral mass will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3pm. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
