Marta Lamar Prater, 49 of Pearsall, Tx entered rest on April 12, 2024, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on August 23,1974, in Pearsall, Tx to Marina and Julian Hernandez. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Eduardo Vinton, Angelita Vinton, Genoveva Hernandez and numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Dalton Prater; parents, Marina and Julian Hernandez; siblings, Julissa Hernandez, Julian Hernandez (Abby); grandfather, Julian Hernandez Sr. and niece, Camilla Jo Hernandez. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held Monday, April 22, 2024, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 5pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment was followed to the Frio County Cemetery.
