Matthew Rudy Olivarez

It is with a heavy heart that we are forced to say farewell to our son, Matthew. A gift from God that was taken away too soon even before he was to be brought into the world and meet all who inhabit it. Matthew Rudy Olivarez, although only twenty-two weeks in the womb was already loved and celebrated by many great people. He is survived by (Father)Jonathan Olivarez,(Mother)Valerie Torres,(Brother)Jayven Jude Olivarez, (Sister) Jenassey Jessa Olivarez, and Grandparents, Marisol Carrillo, Elias Torres III and Rudy and Elva Olivarez, along with many extended family members that were awaiting his arrival so anxiously. Saying goodbye and losing you physically has been one of the most difficult challenges to overcome.

The privilege that we were given to carry you for the short time period was beyond surreal.  We, the parents adored each second.
We will never forget your presence, Matthew. A special presence that will always be remembered for the entirety of our lives.
You’ll be more than just a memory. You’ll be the essence of endless love. We will miss you. Your siblings will ask about you and wonder why you’re not here with us physically. After each sunset, we have the peace of knowing that Jesus took you away for a purpose greater than our own knowledge and you are in a place of constant joy and harmony with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

Funeral service for Matthew will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at The Shepherd's Flock Church, 11am. Family will be gathering at the Dilley Cemetery following the service to lay Matthew in his final resting place.
