Minerva Medina, 79 of Pearsall, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, surrounded by loving family. Born on November 28, 1946, Minerva's life was marked by devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Domingo Medina Jr., children, Christopher Medina; baby, Minerva Medina her parents, Guadalupe Munoz and Candida Aguilar Munoz, as well as her sister Clara Martinez and brother Guadalupe Munoz Jr.

Minerva is survived by a close-knit family who carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. Her daughters, Charlene Medina, Sonia Dawn Cantu, and Rachel Dee Cordova (Mario Jr.) .. She was also blessed with siblings Rosario Castillo, Norma Longoria, Eddie Munoz, Gilbert Munoz, Conrad Munoz, and Lionel Munoz, each of whom enriched her life with their presence and affection. The joy Minerva found in family extended through generations, leaving behind 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom treasured her deeply.

The community will gather to honor Minerva’s life and spirit with a series of services in Pearsall, Texas. A Rosary will be held on April 17, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel and Crematory located at 203 E. Frio. Following this, a Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 422 W Brazos St. The final respects will then be paid with a burial at Pearsall Cemetery, 1675 E Colorado St, commencing at 11:00 a.m.

Minerva Medina’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of her family and all who knew her, yet her remarkable life and enduring spirit offer comfort and inspiration. Her legacy of love and commitment will forever resonate within the community she so dearly loved.
