Moises R. Fernandez

Moises Fernandez of Pearsall, Texas passed away at the age of 84, on January 3, 2021.  He is survived by his three children: Moises (Graciela) Fernandez, JR, Adriana (Valdemar) Garza, and Yolanda (Esteban) Ferdin; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He was proceeded by his wife Maria Olga Fernandez and their beloved daughter Elma Nora Granado.

Moises was a devoted husband and father who loved unconditionally. His greatest pleasure was making his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren laugh and smile. His sense of playful mischief and goofball humor endeared him to all who met him.  He proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force, Army, and Air Force Reserves.

Moises was a special man chosen by God especially for Maria Olga Fernandez and their children. There are plenty of memories of Moises that will live eternally. And though he is gone from this earth, his strength, courage, and spirit will remain with each member of the family as their lives move forward. Moises' journey on earth has been completed; he has been called home to rest with his wife and daughter in God's quiet and wonderful peace.

We will love you forever, and keep you with us always.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at San Pablo Methodist Church, 10am. Interment will follow to the VFW Cemetery with military honors.
