Noel Zepeda

September 21, 1962 — December 21, 2025

Dilley

Noel Zepeda, a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend, left this world suddenly on December 21, 2025, in Dilley, Texas. Born on September 21, 1962, in New Castle, Indiana, Noel's journey through life was marked by hard work, devotion to his family, and a joyous spirit that left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

In his early days, Noel worked alongside his family in the fields of Indiana, harvesting cherries, cotton, watermelons and tomatoes. His dedication and tireless efforts became the foundation of his strong work ethic, which he carried throughout his life. For 25 years, he served as a driver for High Q Incorporated, where he was valued not just for his skills but for his warm personality and many friendships made along the way. He proudly retired in April 2025.

Education was an important aspect of Noel's life as well. A proud graduate of Dilley High School, Class of 1981, he continued to hone his skills through welding school and was a Job Core graduate in Laredo. This commitment to personal growth exemplified his outgoing nature and determination to succeed.

Noel loved music and found joy in cheering for his favorite sports teams, the Los Angeles Rams and the San Antonio Spurs, often sharing his passions with family and friends. He maintained a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Clarissa Gutierrez, with whom he shared a proud and loving marriage of 34 years. Their children, Cassandra and Robert Zepeda, will forever hold onto the invaluable life lessons and laughter they experienced with their devoted father. Also mourning his loss are his brothers, Jose Zepeda (Irma) and Arnold Zepeda, along with uncles Mario Acosta (Sylvia) and Joe Acosta (Juanita), and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who admired and respected him.

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guadalupe Zepeda and Leandra Acosta Zepeda, and his sisters, Olga Contreras and Gloria Gonzales. He was also mourned by his nieces, Elizabeth Madera and Natalie Zamora, and his nephew, Justin Lopez, who will each carry memories of him deep in their hearts.

A visitation to celebrate Noel's life will take place on January 4, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Royal Oaks Dilley Chapel. The rosary will be held that evening at 7:00 PM. The next day, family and friends are invited to join at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10:00 AM for a Mass in his honor, followed by interment at Dilley Cemetery at 11:00 AM.

As we gather to remember Noel Zepeda, we honor a man whose laughter, love, and spirit of kindness will be sorely missed but will live on in the stories shared and the hearts touched along his journey. His legacy of love remains an inspiration to his family and friends, reminding us all to cherish the moments we have together.
