Nora Medrano Quillimaco

Nora Medrano Quillimaco, 64 of Pearsall, entered rest on July 20, 2022 in Lubbock, Tx. She was born on May 5, 1958 in Monday, TX to Epifanio Quillimaco and Maria Anita Medrando Quillimaco. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Isidro Lara Garza; siblings, Evaristo Quillimaco, Martin Quillimaco, Julio Quillimaco.

Nora was full of life. She loved to dance and loved listening to music. She enjoyed family time and BBQ's, but most importantly she loved her grandkids more than anything. Nora was not only strong and tough, but she was also gentle and loving. She will be truly missed and her memory will be carried on by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Angelica Castillo (Joe) of Levelland, Tx, Hilario Silva of Levelland, Tx, Joe Noel Quillimaco Sr. (Traci Williams) of Pearsall, TX, Anastacio Garza of Pearsall, Tx, and Clarita Rosa Garza (Robert Gonzales) of Lubbock, Tx; grandchildren, Joe Angel, Tara LaRue, Cora Justice, Brandon Anthony, Stephanie, Lala, Oscar Lee, Mia, Joshua, Joe Noel Jr., Maria Guadalupe, Justin Nathaniel, Johnathon, Jesus, Aaron Ace, Dayton, Nora Avae, Angelo Armani, Isidro, Jordan, Destiney, Elizar, Sebastion; siblings, Maria Franco, Rosa Frausto, Gina Gallardo, Aurora Serna, Margarita Escalada, Caralina Lopez, Herminia Lopez and Guadalupe Smith.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Services will conclude at the church.
