Obituary

Ofilia Ramirez, born on May 7, 1941, in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, peacefully departed this life on February 19, 2026, in Dilley, surrounded by her beloved family. Ofilia was a cherished matriarch whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Ofilia is survived by her loving children, Martin Ramirez Jr. and his wife Maria, and Rosario Rodriguez and her husband Fidel. She also held a special place in her heart for her 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom were a source of immense joy and pride.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Martin Ramirez Chavez, and is also remembered by her late parents, Ramon Gutierrez and San Juanita Gutierrez Garcia. Ofilia's legacy continues through her daughters, San Juana Godina Ramirez and Antonia Ramirez, and her grandson, Jairo Ramirez, who have all passed before her, leaving behind memories that will be forever cherished.

Visitation will be held at Treviño Royal Oaks Dilley Chapel in Dilley on February 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on February 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Dilley Cemetery at 11:00 AM.

Ofilia Ramirez’s life was a testament to the strength of family and the beauty of love, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely in life.
