Oralia M. Aranda, 71, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 31, 1953, in Pearsall, she spent her life devoted to her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Oralia, known affectionately by many, made a profound impact on all who had the privilege to know her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gregorio A. Aranda, and their cherished children: Yolanda A. Rios (Jose Luis), Isabel A. Ornelas (Raynando), Juanita A. Jimenez (Richard), and David Aranda (Monica). The joy of her life was amplified by her grandchildren, including Cassandra Lee Rios, Annabelle Rios, Stephanie Nicole Rios, Miranda Aranda, Mariah Arnada, Xavier Jimenez, and David Aranda Jr. Oralia was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Layla Michelle Ramon, Mason Alexander Ramon, Gabriel Alexander Jimenez, and Lexi Rose Lopez, who brought immeasurable happiness to her later years.
She is survived by her siblings, Eulalia Aguilar, Lucia Aranda, Francisca Soto, and Rosalio Elizondo Jr., who will carry forward her memory with love and respect.
Oralia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rosalio Elizondo and Ramona Hernandez Elizondo, as well as her siblings, Pablo Elizondo, Edwardo Elizondo, Mario Elizondo, Carlos Elizondo, and Alvino Elizondo, and sister Jacinta Elizondo Almanza. She also mourned the loss of her grandson, Jose Luis Rios Jr. "JoJo."
Pallbearers include, David Aranda, David Aranda Jr., Xavier Jimenez, Richard Jimenez, Raynando Ornelas, Joe Rios, Joselito Morales and Mason Ramon.
The services in honor of Oralia M. Aranda will be held at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel and Crematory, located at 203 E. Frio, Pearsall, Texas. A viewing will take place on October 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on October 29, 2025, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, starting at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow at Frio County Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
Oralia M. Aranda will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her nurturing spirit, and the deep love she shared with everyone around her. She leaves a remarkable legacy that will continue to inspire her family and friends in the years to come.
