Pablo V. Barrera

Pablo V. Barrera, 79 of Dilley, passed away April 17, 2013 in San Antonio. He was born on March 2, 1934 in Winterhaven, Texas to Manuel Barrera and Antonia Vargas Barrera. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife; Basilia Elizondo Barrera, wife; Candelaria Barrera, daughter; Alveisa Nieto, brother; Carlos Barrera and sister, Manuela Rocha. He is survived by his children; Juan Manuel Barrera and wife Maria of Dilley, Juan Pedro Barrera and wife Alma of San Antonio, Christela B. Molina and husband Alfred of San Antonio, Priscilla Neimann and husband Bryan of Wisconsin and Pablita B. Nieto of Pearsall, son-in-law; Luis Nieto and sister Maria Garcia of Dallas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Rosary was be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Trevino Royal Oaks Dilley Chapel, 7pm. Funeral mass was held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 2:30pm. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.
