Pedro Gomez Mainez, 73 of Pearsall, entered rest on February 5, 2017 in San Antonio. He was born on June 29, 1943 in Frio County to Gabriel Mainez and Elida Gomez Mainez. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Abran Garcia.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Vasquez Garcia of Pearsall, children; Lee Garcia and wife Gabby of San Antonio, Julian Garcia of San Antonio, Paula Carrasco and husband John of Moore and John Garcia and partner Ray Galindo of San Antonio. Brother: Raul Mainez and wife Rosario of Pearsall. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio Town Cemetery.
