Pedro S. Morales

Pedro S. Morales, known as Pete, passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on April 17, 2025. Born on November 18, 1949, in Pearsall, he was the beloved son of the late Triburcio Morales and Felicidad Shutter Morales. Pete was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Maria Martinez, Lucia Garcia, Rosario Cuevas, Luisa Castillo, and Jesus Morales.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Gilda Vinton Morales, and his loving children, Monica Lynn V. Rios, Pedro 'Pete' Morales Jr., and Abigail Morales. He was a cherished grandfather to Efrain Medrano, Tessa Benavides, Tara Benavides, Shawn Perales, and Levi Perales, and a proud great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren. Pete is also survived by his siblings Teresa Maldonado, Margarita Martinez, Manuel Morales, and Alfredo Morales.

Pete dedicated 35 years of his career to the City of Pearsall and later served Dilley ISD for 12 years until his retirement. His commitment to his work and community left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 10am-5pm. A prayer service will be held at 3pm. Services will conclude at the chapel.
