Peter "Pedro" Cordova

Peter “Pedro” Cordova, 84 of Pearsall went to be with the lord on July 15th, 2012. His final days were spent at his home surrounded by his daughters; Santa Cordova Berthelsen and Dahlia Cordova along with family and friends. He was born on May 19th, 1928 to Thomas Cordova and Ramona Hernandez.
Pete left Pearsall in 1953 and moved to Racine, Wisconsin where he worked at Stewart Young Radiators for 25 years. He then opened his own business, Northern Sanitation Service and ran the company for 21 years until he sold it to a family friend. Pete was granted a second chance in life 23 years ago when he received a heart transplant. He spends the rest of his days trying to better himself and his family by learning new things. Pete moved back to Pearsall in 2002. Pete was a loving, caring, forgiving and hardworking man who will be deeply missed.
Pete is survived by his daughters; Santa, Dahlia, Alice and Linda. Brothers and sisters: Felix Cordova and Margaret, Paul Cordova, Alamar Ibarra and Narcisa Cordova. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Ramona Cordova and siblings; Jesse Cordova and Martina Coronado.
Cremation will take place at Camero Crematory and a memorial mass will be held on Saturday July 21st,2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10AM.
