Placido Segovia

Placido F. Segovia, 69 of Dilley, entered rest on August 29, 2014. He was born on October 5, 1944 to Bartolo Segovia and Teresa Flores Segovia. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Lisa Segovia, granddaughter; Milagros S. Garcia and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his children; Placido Segovia Jr. and wife Tabitha, Placido Segovia III, Jesus Segovia, Oneida Segovia, Linda Segovia and Lizette Gomez and husband Ralph. Brother and sisters: Joe Segovia and wife Gela, Ulalia Segovia, Porfiria Marquez, Natividad Gutierrez, Viviana Smith and Victoria Trevino. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Camilo Medrano Jr., Chevlyn Cantu, Joleen Perez, Zenestina Perez, Alicia Omega Segovia, Evan Segovia, Tristin Segovia, Tessa Segovia, Seth Segovia, Abigale Segovia, Pedro Garcia Jr., and Anthony Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
