Porfiria Segovia Marquez, 94 of Dilley, entered rest on November 27, 2024. She was born on September 15, 1930, in Dilley to Bartolo Segovia and Teresa Flores. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Maria Ruiz Ramirez, Jose Ruiz, Guadalupe Ruiz Lopez, Viviana Ruiz Smith, Nieves Segovia, Natividad Segovia Gutierrez, Guillerma Segovia Guajardo, Jose " Chema" Segovia, Elisia Segovia, Placido Segovia, Eulalia Segovia, Jesús Segovia and Mauro Segovia.
She is survived by her sister, Victoria Segovia of Dilley and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers include, Ruben A. Gonzales, Ruben "Cheech" Gonzales, Mack Segovia, Rene Lozano, Moses Nunez, Joe Oran Segovia, Paul Gonzales, Juan Ramon Trevino and honorary pallbearer, Myles Gonzales.
Rosary will be recited on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church-Dilley at 9am. Funeral mass will follow at 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
