Ramiro Rodriguez

Ramiro Rodriguez, 77 of Pearsall, entered rest on October 29, 2020. He was born on March 13, 1943 in Lampasos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Mauro Rodriguez and Hortencia Barientos de Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Norma Rodriguez; parents; siblings, Geraldo Rodriguez and Marina Tijerina; nephew, Jose Luis Tijerina and son is laws, Mario Castor and Juan Castor.

He is survived by his wife, Estanislada Vasquez Rodriguez; children, Yolanda Castor of Austin, Mary Castor of Cotulla, Lydia Benavides (Carlos) of Lake Jackson, Gilda Rodriguez of Pearsall, Ramiro Rodriguez Jr. of Pearsall and Rodrigo Rodriguez (Pamela) of Austin. Siblings:  Dolores Rodriguez of Lampasos, Nuveo Leon, Mexico and Augustin Rodriguez of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and his nieces and newphes who live in Mexico.

Pallbearers include his grandsons, Fabian Martinez, Joshua Benavides, Noah Castor, Juan Castor Jr., Jonathan Martinez, Santos Valle and Richie Gandara.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
