Raul Gomez Mainez

Raul Gomez Mainez, 72 of Pearsall, Texas, entered rest on October 28, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1948 in Pearsall, Texas to Graviel Mainez and Elida Gomez Mainez. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Pedro G. Mainez.

He is survived by his wife Maria del Rosario Moreno Mainez; children, Sonia Leonor Mainez Bosquez (Paul Anthony), Raul Gomez Mainez Jr.(Ana Vasquez Talamantes), Priscilla Moreno Mainez, Gabriel Mainez Sr. and April Marie Mainez. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include, Roger Frausto, Lonnie Herrera, Tomas Navarro Jr., Isaac Navarro, Samuel Navarro, Pedro Mainez, William Dean Gonzales, Jordan Martinez and Raul Mainez III. Honorary Pallbearer, Gabriel Mainez Jr. "Dos".

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 4pm-6:15pm. Visitation will continue at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church from 6:30-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment to follow at the Frio Town Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 we are asking everyone to continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as local mandates. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
