Rebecca Salazar

Rebecca Salazar 45, of Boerne TX, received her wings to Heaven on August 24, 2021.

Rebecca is survived by her grandmother Maria C. Rodriguez, her uncle Simon Salazar, her sister Estella Salazar, her cousin Jesusita Salazar, her husband of 7 years Sergio Martinez, her daughter Eziquia Carrizales, her son Edward Carrizales JR, her son in-laws Alejandro Guzman and RaMelle Quinn, her grandchildren Uriel Carrizales and Ethan Carrizales, her nieces Samantha Salazar, Kimberly Peralta, Sanessa Peralta, and Stephanie Peralta, her nephew Gabriel Salazar, and a host of family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Felix E. Salazar and Irene Rodriguez, grandparents Thomas Rodriguez, Simon Salazar, and Basilia Elizondo, her sister Mary E. Salazar, and her children Marcus Zuniga, Matthew Zuniga, and Thomas Hernandez.

Rebecca, was born September 27th, 1975 to Felix E. Salazar and Irene Rodriguez in Pearsall TX, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Rebecca went on to graduate from Pearsall High School. After graduating from high school, Rebecca went on to pursue a career in childcare.

In 1994 and 1995, she gave birth to two children Eziquia Carrizales and Edward Carrizales JR. Rebecca dedicated her life to her children, her grandchildren, and above all else her family.

Viewing will be on September 3rd, 2021, 3pm – 9pm and Rosary services starting at 7pm, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, 203 E Frio St., Pearsall, TX 78061.

Funeral Mass September 4th, 2021 beginning at 10am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 422 W Brazos St., Pearsall, TX 78061. Graveside will be held at the Pearsall Catholic Cemetery Westside after mass, with a reception to follow at 602 W Brazos St. Pearsall TX, 78061
