Reyes Frausto, born on January 6, 1939, in Moore, Texas, passed away peacefully in Pearsall on July 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Throughout his eighty-seven years, Reyes touched the lives of many through his kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Reyes will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Evilia G. Frausto, who stood faithfully by his side through all of life’s seasons. His legacy continues in the lives of his cherished children: daughters Helen Valdez and Graciela Martinez and her husband Pedro, son Reyes Frausto Jr., and wife Tammy. Reyes was also a devoted brother to Domingo Frausto and Sylvia Martinez, each holding a treasured place in his heart.

He is reunited in rest with those who went before him, including his father Pascual Frausto, mother Ignacia Frausto, his daughter Velma Frausto Cuevas, and his grandson Senon Cuevas Jr. His siblings Raul Frausto, Mary Frausto, Jose Frausto, and Frank Frausto have also preceded him in passing.

Those who knew Reyes remember his deep passion for sports; he was an avid fan who found joy and camaraderie in every game. Whether cheering for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoons or celebrating the victories of the San Antonio Spurs, Reyes brought a sense of excitement and pride to every sporting occasion.

The family will be honoring Reyes’s wishes with a private service. They encourage everyone who knew and loved Reyes to share their condolences, continuing the legacy of closeness and community that he cultivated throughout his life. Special thanks are extended to the hospice team for their compassionate care, with heartfelt gratitude for his caregiver, Cilda Ramirez, whose dedicated support brought comfort in his final days.
