Reymundo C. Aguilar

Reymundo C. Aguilar, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in San Antonio at the age of 84. Born on March 15, 1941, in Pearsall.

He is survived by his two devoted children: Reymundo Aguilar Jr. (Cynthia) and Enrique Aguilar (Maricella), who carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. As a proud grandfather to Maricela, Melanie, Reymundo III, Clarisa, Daniel, Miguel and Joseph—each one cherished deeply—he found immense joy in their accomplishments and laughter.

Reymundo was also blessed with siblings who shared countless memories with him throughout their lives: Valentin; Victoria; Nicolas; Dominga; and Juana. Together they navigated life's challenges while celebrating its joys—a bond that remained unbreakable until the end.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Francisca Aguilar as well as numerous brothers whose spirits continue to guide him from above—Reymundo's heart always held space for those he loved dearly. His family remembers him not only for his unwavering support but also for his infectious smile that could light up any room.

For nearly four decades, Reymundo worked tirelessly at Frio Regional Hospital. His commitment to healthcare was not just a job; it was a calling that reflected his deep compassion for those around him. The lessons he imparted will forever resonate within those fortunate enough to have known him. He had an innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life through simple acts of kindness or heartfelt conversations over coffee.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, starting at 8am. A rosary will follow at 9am. A celebration mass honoring Reymundo will be held at 10am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
