Roberto Felan, a cherished member of the Dilley community, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on June 26, 1949, in Dilley, Roberto lived a life dedicated to service, family, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones.
Roberto proudly served as a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1972. His commitment to his country was a significant part of his identity, and he carried the values of honor and duty throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Feliciana Rocha, and his brother, George Felan. Together, they will remember Roberto not only as a husband and brother but also as a guiding light in their lives.
Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Felan and Dora Gallegos Felan, along with his brothers, Rey and Enrique Felan. Their memories remain cherished by those who loved him, and their influence shaped the man he became.
The services honoring Roberto Felan will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dilley, Texas. A Rosary will be held on November 12, 2025, at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. After the Mass, he will be laid to rest during the inurnment at Dilley Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
Roberto's legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched, exemplifying the values of courage, love, and dedication that defined his life.
