Rosalio "Chalio" Hernandez

Rosalio "Chalio" Hernandez Jr., 65 of Dilley, entered rest on November 7, 2023, in Pearsall. He was born on June 9, 1958, in Cotulla to Rosalio Hernandez Sr. and Eudelia Sandoval Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Ramon Nunez and Mirya Hernandez, nephews, Ruben Hernandez, Tacho Gonzales and Jay Cantu.

He is survived by his siblings, Juan Nunez Sr., Rosa Gonzales and Frances Mendez. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Pallbearers include Juan "Boy" Cantu, Zeke Fabela, Arnold Ochoa, Able Gonzales Jr., Tony Garcia, Jason Nunez, Mark Cano and Raul "RJ" Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers are Jayden Barrera and Josiah Mendez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
