Rosendo Martinez, 87 of Pearsall, entered rest on April 26, 2018. He was born on October 27 1930, in Pearsall to Arturo and Gavina Martinez. He is preceded in death by his son, Raul Martinez; parents; brothers and sisters, Enriquetta Alaniz, Leonarda, Sofia, Arturo, Mucio, Cruz, Juan and Celestina.

He is survived by his wife, Lucia Vasquez Martinez of Pearsall; children, Mucio Martinez and wife Margarita of Pearsall, Celestina Martinez and husband Jaime of California, Victor Martinez wife Gregoria of New Mexico, Trinidad Martinez wife Jessica of Pearsall, Ricardo Martinez wife Thelma of Pearsall, Linda Rodriguez and husband Gomer of Dilley, Sandra Martinez and Greg Dominguez of Pearsall, Maribel Martinez and Francisco Garza of Lytle and Krystal Vasquez and husband Xavier of Pearsall; Brother; Hector Martinez of San Antonio Texas. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren,45 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 10am. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Catholic Cemetery West Side.
