Santos Quezada Barrera

Santos Quezada Barrera, aged 85, of Dilley, entered rest on June 26, 2025. She was born to Eulalio Quezada and Juanita Beltran Quezada on December 28, 1939. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlos V. Barrera, and numerous siblings.

Santos is survived by her children: Maria Melda Guzman and her husband San Juan, Jose Angel Barrera and his wife Laura, Carlos Barrera Jr. and his wife Irene, Armando Barrera and his wife Selma, Gilberto Barrera and his wife Sandra, Pablo Barrera and his wife Lenora, and Rene Barrera and his wife Alicia. She is also survived by her brother, Mingo Quezada, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Santos will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Dilley, from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
