Simon Canales, 30 of Dilley, Tx, entered rest on March 27, 2022, in Dilley, Tx. He was born on February 12, 1992 in Crookston, Minnesota to Simon Sambrano Jr. and Joanne Garza Canales. He is preceded in death by his father, Simon Sambrano Jr.; Grandfathers, Simon Sambrano Sr. and Florentino Tijerina Canales.

He is survived by his daughter, Caylee J. Rodriguez; mother, Joanne Garza Canales; siblings, Valerie A. Canales, Veronica Canales, Jesus A. Canales, Jacob J. Canales and Andrough A. Canales; Grandmothers, Consuelo C Sambrano and Angela Garza Canales; Nieces and Nephews, Amaia, Aveyah, Alizay, Ayanna, Analis, Izabell, Jaylynn, Joziah, Lezandro, Leziah, Rose, Caydence and Alaina. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 8am-1230pm. There will be a prayer service held at 11am. Funeral service will be held at the Lighthouse Church at 1pm. Interment will follow to the Dilley Cemetery.
