Solia Benavides

Soila V. Benavides, 87 of Dilley, passed away on November 14th, 2012. She was born on August 1st, 1925 in Batesville, Texas to Espiririon Reyna and Bacilisa Garcia Reyna. She is survived by her husband, Margarito Benavides, children; Ismael Benavides and wife Carmen of Wisconsin, Geraldo Benavides of Houston, Texas, Juan Benavides of Dilley, Elvia Salinas of Pearsall, Ricardo Benavides and Debbie of San Antonio, Israel Benavides (grandson), Gloria Longoria and husband Victor of Dilley, Rosalda Mata and Paul Cyruss of Houston, TX, Geraldina Gonzales and Richard of Martindale, TX, Martha Ramirez and Cuyo, Lupe Benavides and Eric Ramirez,. Sisters: Ludivina Herrera and Mariana Salinas. She also had 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Espiririon and Bacilisa Reyna, son; Margarito Benavides Jr., Daughters; Juana, Margarita and Maria Elena Benavides, Brothers; Atilano Reyna, Jose Guadalupe Reyna, Julio Reyna, Hector Reyna, Roberto Reyna, and Regulo Reyna, Sisters; Juana Zamora, Petra Benavides, and Ouldia Ckoler.

Pallbearers include: Israel Benavides, Juan Jose Jr. Benavides, James Benavides, Johnny Ray Torres, Christopher Ramirez, Isaac Ramirez, Dillon Benavides, Derrick Gonzales, Santos Perez Jr., Nate Trevino, and Israel Benavides Jr.

Rosary was held on Sunday November 18th, 2012 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley, TX, 7pm. Funeral was held on Monday November 19th, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10am. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.
