Tranquilino "Lino" Chavera, 74 of Pearsall, entered rest on January 7, 2018 in San Antonio. He was born on July 6, 1943 in Charlotte to Juan Chavera and Francisca Gutierrez Chavera. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucilla Chavera, parents and brothers and sister, Pablo Chavera, Telesforo Chavera, Domingo Chavera, Jesus Chavera, Pabla Chavez, Margarito Chavera and Santos Chavera.

He is survived by his children, Reynaldo Chavera of Batesville and Rogelio Chavera of San Antonio; sisters, Catarina Chavera and Natividad Chavera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, 10am. Services will conclude at the chapel.
