Valentina Lopez Torres, 89 of Pearsall, entered rest on April 27, 2015. She was born on February 14, 1926 in Pearsall to Gregorio Lopez and Paula Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her husband, Florentino Torres Sr., children; Eusebio Gonzales of Wisconsin, Guadalupe Carillo of Pearsall, Florentino Torres Jr of Kerrville, Berta Torres Mata of San Antonio, Ernesto Torres of Wisconsin, Juan G. Torres, Vicente Torres and Jose Torres all of Pearsall. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a service at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Templo Calvario, 10am. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Catholic Cemetery-West.
