Yvonne Selvera

Yvonne Selvera, 50 of Pearsall, entered rest on February 24, 2018 in San Antonio. She was born on January 5, 1968 in Dilley to Manuel Selvera and Estella Garcia Selvera. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Yvonne graduated from Pearsall High School. Soon after she graduated, Yvonne was employed at Sonic and then as a  Walmart sales associate for over 18 years. Yvonne had a big heart and loved many things, her life was centered around doing things for her family and friends. She was always willing to give a helping hand whether at home, work or to anyone who needed it. She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother to her son, Troy. Shopping was one of her favorite things to do. Christmas shopping was what she enjoyed the most and looked forward to every year. Yvonne also loved dancing especially to tejano music. She adored her God children and loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by Hilario Ramirez of Pearsall, son, Troy A. Ruiz of Pearsall; siblings, Orlando Manuel Selvera and wife Daniella of Pearsall, MaryAnn Selvera of San Antonio and Elizabeth Selvera of Pearsall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
